Blossom & Berry Professional Early Years Yoga Practitioner Training

Train with us on our Professional Blossom & Berry Professional Early Years Yoga Practitioner Course

Colette Bruce, early years yoga expert and author of My First Yoga published by DK Books has created a unique approach to teaching young children (from the ages of 2-5 years) yoga that is inspired by Patanjali's 8 limbs of Yoga to honor the traditions written at least 1,700 years ago by the sage in the Yoga Sutras.

Like any Blossom and Berry course you are encouraged to shine your own light and add your own personality to your teaching. Having the confidence to do this often comes from feeling supported and knowledgeable about your offering. Which is why this course gives you an abundance of technical and science based information, planning and teaching strategies that take into consideration a child's physical, spiritual and emotional well-being and development.

This isn’t just a ‘kids class’ this is a step towards connectedness between the self, parent and child, communities and beyond.

Enrol on Blossom & Berry's Professional Blossom & Berry Professional Early Years Yoga Practitioner Course and feel confident with honouring the tradition of yoga whilst engaging and connecting with children, fun and imagination.

What Will I Learn On This Course?

18

How to open up your heart and mind as you journey through this course so that it will not only encourage your yogic thinking but also motivate you to create classes centered on unity, love and growth.

All the main principles to teach yoga will be covered including professionalism & ethics, anatomy and physiology of yoga, benefits of preschool yoga, teaching techniques and ideas for lessons, poses, breathwork and relaxation and  how to market your business.

This course will not only teach you the cherry-picked asanas for children 2-5 years, but it will journey you to explore some of the lesser-known depths in yoga. It is from here that your heart and mind will expand and your passion for delivering Early Years Yoga will truly start to strengthen.

Baby Yoga and Massage taught me to truly listen to my inner wisdom and that thread is continued within this course, helping you to absorb the knowledge within the content and transforming that into your own inspiration and momentum for your business. This is really important because we want to create classes centered around diversity, unity, love and growth.

All the main principles to teach yoga will be covered including professionalism & ethics, anatomy and physiology of yoga for children aged 2-5 years, the benefits of early years yoga, teaching techniques and ideas for lessons, asanas/poses, breathwork, games and relaxation and of course how to market your business.

This is more than a kids asana class, this is the foundations to creating true connection between children and themselves, each other, to their parent/guardian, to a class community and to yoga. This course will guide you in becoming the facilitator who can hold that space, who can nurture the eco system of that connection and who can help individuals to brighten their light as they explore the magic of yoga.
